About the Webinar

The General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR) is a data privacy regulation arising out of the European
Union (EU). The GDPR was introduced by the EU to modernize and standardize the
protection of personal data for all European residents. The regulation applies
to all EU residents regardless of where their data is stored and/or processed
globally. The GDPR also covers all personal data processed and/or stored
within EU borders regardless of a data subject’s residency. This wide reaching
regulation will impact a vast number of global enterprises.

Dun & Bradstreet began addressing
the GDPR in April 2016 when the regulation was finalized and they are well
underway toward completing their internal program in time for the May 2018
deadline.

In this webinar, we will cover the
following topics:

·
GDPR
Basics – Summary Information, Key Points and GDPR terms

·
The GDPR
is replacing the current European Data Protection Directive. What’s changing
and what’s not? What are the risks?

·
When and
where does the GDPR apply?

·
What is
within scope for the average global enterprise?

·
What has
been Dun & Bradstreet’s approach toward preparing for the regulation?
